Broken Messages

The 8 messages fit into the poster that can be found in the House

Broken messages are part of the layer 4 puzzle after collecting all Secret Bunnies and solving BDTP. There are 8 known messages throughout the game.

1. Pedometer message: In the big pedometer at the top of the well at exactly 100 steps, there is a chest with the message. Note that the pedometer resets after every 100 000 steps.
2. Hummingbird message: Above the room with Mallard, there is a Hummingbird. Overwhelming it with bubbles displays the secret message. The B. B. Wand is required for this.
3. Wheel message: In the room with the big Lynx, playing the Lynx song on the Animal flute unlocks the cage with the Wheel early, and upon opening the chest displays the message.
4. Kangaroo message: Trapping the Kangaroo in place and throwing multiple firecrackers makes it display the message. This is possible in the dog bowl room after opening the secret passage to the barcode bunny.
5. Squirrel message: Sneak up on the Squirrel five times.
6. Speedrun message: For this message to appear, you need to get to the second clocktower in under 60 minutes. The message appears as the action description when you approach the third (90 minute) door.
7. Chameleon message: This message appears when you survive getting eaten by a Chameleon. This is possible if you have at least 9 hearts, as the attack only deals 8 damage. That is only possible if you have at least one golden heart from drinking the elixir given to you by the Groundhog.
8. Fruit message: Eat 100 fruits without taking damage while being on full health.
