A blue fruit.

Fruits can be eaten by the player to restore health. They come in three varieties: pink, blue and big blue. They can be found scattered in many rooms, some in plain sight, others are hidden.

Pink fruit cannot be eaten when all hearts are full, but if you keep trying you'll still eat the fruit without gaining additional hearts. However, if you eat 100 fruit while already being at full health without taking damage, a broken message appears.

Variants

• Pink: Restores one red heart but does not exceed the maximum of four.
• Blue: Restores one heart. At full health, grants one blue heart over the maximum. It is possible to acquire a maximum of four blue hearts.
• Big blue: similar to regular blue fruit, but restores three hearts instead of just one.
