Shadow Egg

The Shadow Egg is an egg in Animal Well. It is dark blue with a white, neutral face on it that makes it resemble a blue ghost.

Location

It is found in the top-right of the chameleon area, to the right of the room with the fourteen perching crows. There will be a single ghost mouse head spinning around.

To get this egg the slink is required. You need to use the slink to raise the floor tiles and reach the other side while avoiding the head. After this, go up the stairs at the end of the corridor.

Since the egg is not strictly blocked with a solid terrain, there are alternative ways to get the egg. The player may bring the lantern to ignore the mouse and the blue ghosts to reach the egg, or save enough hearts from fruits and tank the damage. It's also possible to dig from the room above using the top.
