Animal head

The warp room.

Animal heads are fast travel portals in Animal Well. They respond to the player standing near a Flute Spot by having their eyes glow. If the animal flute is played at a flute spot, the animal head will open and it can be used a shortcut to move around the map. The shortcuts lead to a central room, also called "warp room" or "hub room". The warp room can be used in conjunction with some note sequences you can learn along the way.

Interactions

• Its eyes light up if the head is unopened and the player stands near the flute spot.
• After playing the animal flute, the animal head will open, becoming a shortcut.

Locations

Each shortcut is represented by an animal:

• Dog: Upper left area.
• Fish: Left and lower left area.
• Squirrel: Starting area.
• Crow: Egg shrine area.
• Bear: Upper right area.
• Lizard: Lower right area.
• Hippopotamus: Sealed area, leading to the Manticore boss and the house
• Eel: Eel area.
