An inactive, unopened animal head.
An animal head responding to the presence of a player near a flute spot.
The warp room.

Animal Heads respond to the player standing near a Flute Spot by having their eyes glow. If the Animal Flute is played at a flute spot, the animal head will open and it can be used a shortcut to move around the map. The shortcuts lead to a central room (also called "warp room" or "hub room") to make traveling around the map easier. It can be used in conjunction with some note sequences you can learn along the way.

Interactions

  • Its eyes light up if the head is unopened and the player stands near the flute spot.
  • After playing the animal flute, the animal head will open, becoming a shortcut.
