B. Ball

The B. Ball is a bouncing ball. On most surfaces it behaves like a bouncing ball and will slowly lose momentum. On some specific blocks, it behaves like the projectile in games like Breakout and will increase its momentum and change color. Only one ball can be active on the screen at once and it must be picked up to be used again. Leaving the room recovers the ball.

Interactions

• Breaks earthen spikes on contact.
• Damages and breaks off stalactites with repeated hits.
• Breaks "Breakout" tiles and the ball changes color to blue and speeds up.
• Distracts dogs and otters.
• Disappears when it leaves the room or is picked up.
• In a blue state the ball will bounce endlessly without losing momentum.
• In a normal state the ball will eventually slow down and stop.

Location

Can be found in the Kangaroo-shaped room past the Kangaroo Statue. You'll need all K. Shards to make the K. Medal to place on the pedestal to unlock the Gate.
