Telephone

Telephones act a save point.

Phones are save points in Animal Well. Interacting with the phone and saving preserves game progress (collected tools, items, and secret bunnies) and the state of the map. The last used telephone acts as a respawn point in the event of a death.

Saving is not possible during any chase sequences with the ghost dog, ostrich, or manticore. During these chases, interacting with phones brings up a pop-up with the text "no answer."

Normally, phones are colored yellow across all save slots, but a hidden collectible permanently changes their color to pink.
