Dancing fish

The Fish facing the right.

The Dancing Fish can be located under the shortcut room. Approach the water and the fish will perform a "dance", popping outside the water in different orientations. The fish is not hostile to the player and does not deal contact damage, nor can the player damage, interact, distract or impede it.

The dance is a hint to a sequence of Animal flute notes.

Trivia

The fish may be a reference to Manbo, a sunfish who teaches the player a warp song in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
